Responsibilities:
● Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
● Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, bussers, and bartenders.
● Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance management to maintain service standards.
● Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
● Monitor table turnover, reservations, and seating to maximize dining room efficiency.
● Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant.
● Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring stock levels meet operational needs.
● Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
● Assist with creating staff schedules and adjusting shifts as needed to meet business demands.
● Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, promotions, and service goals.
● Handle cash, process payments, and oversee daily reconciliation when necessary.
● Support the restaurant manager in administrative tasks such as reporting, payroll, and maintaining records.
● Promote and enforce company policies and procedures.
● Help plan and execute special events, promotions, and private functions.
● Foster a positive work environment, ensuring teamwork and effective communication between front and back of house.
● Step in to assist with service when the team is short-staffed or during busy periods.
Requirements:
● Strong leadership and team management skills.
● Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
● Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety and service standards.
● Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Previous experience in restaurant supervision or hospitality preferred.
PhysicalRequirements:
● Prolonged periods standing or walking.
● Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
